Train-the-Trainer

 

The Medical Association of Billers offers a training class for medical billing and coding instructors.  In order to participate in the Train-the-Trainer program trainers must be current members of the Medical Association of Billers, CMBS and must have a Confidentiality Agreement on file.

Train-the-Trainer is a two day class consisting of our PowerWeekend refresher class plus training tips and assessment tools.  Instructors will have an opportunity to present topics to the class on topics supplied by our Instructors and are given 5-10 minutes to explain each topic.  Trainers will be graded on:

Knowledge

bullet

Question answering skills

Upon successful completion instructors will receive their CMBS-I.  This class is given in our offices in Las Vegas.  If trainers are unable to travel to Las Vegas we can send an instructor to observe in their city.  There is a minimum of 3 trainers per class.  Call for more information and availability.

Certification Renewal

CMBS - 12 CEUs or 36 hours of training

CMBS-I - 15 CEUs plus 100 hours of training

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations must be received in writing.  Those received 30 days prior to Train-the-Trainer are 100% refundable; those received 8-29 days prior will receive a refund minus $100 administrative fee; those received 7-days or less prior to the training are non-refundable.
